Margaret Brownley - Writer

I don’t know when I first became a writer, but I’ve always been a storyteller,” says Margaret Brownley, who admits she was constantly in trouble as a child for daydreaming and making-up stories. Her love for romantic fiction became evident at a very young age. She once told her first-grade teacher that a handsome man with “startled” eyes stole her homework. At the age of seven, she thought the word “startled” meant starry-eyed. Margaret Brownley has published more than 20 books. Among her publishers are Topaz, Harlequin and St. Martin’s Press and her novels have been published in eighteen languages. Margaret is presently working on western romance novels for Thomas Nelson Publishers. Book one of her new inspirational Rocky Creek series will be published December 2009. Happily married to her real-life hero, Margaret and her husband live in Southern California.

A Suitor For Jenny

Coming September 2010

When looking for a husband, it's best to go where the odds are in your favor.

And that would be Rocky Creek, Texas, 1880. But Jenny Higgins's plan to find husbands for her two sisters hits a snag when enthusiastic applicants fail to meet her stringent requirements.

Rejecting her sisters' choices for mates and riding herd on her growing feelings for Marshal Rhett Armstrong, she refuses to give up.

Jenny thinks choosing a husband is not a job for the heart. It'll take one strong and handsome marshal to convince her otherwise.

Have a little faith.

Dorothea Heger is an artist who uses water media to paint in a fluid, abstract manner. Born in Germany, she discovered early that her true artistic inspiration came from nature. Her passion for organic beauty fed her desire to capture the art of the natural world.  Her artwork bridges the boundries between realism and abstract expressionism. Dorothea believes, that to form a design which cannot be repeated, is a reflection of the infinite creativity of the soul. Her work has been shown in many local, national and international exhibitions; including the Sumner Museum in Washington DC, the Berman Museum in Pennsylvania and the De Vos Museum at Northern Michigan University.
